You are more than what shows at first glance

Cecilia Altieri is a psychotherapist and systemic facilitator, practising since 2010. The four practitioners alongside her train facilitators as well as seeing clients. Together they work with individuals, couples and families, in therapy and in family constellations, online across time zones in six languages, and in person in Brussels.

Who we work with

No two people arrive with the same thing

You, on your own

Something in your body won’t settle, and nothing quite explains it. A low feeling that has outlasted any reason for it. A loss you can’t set down, or a decision you’re standing in front of.

You and your partner

The same argument from every angle, and it never resolves. A distance neither of you chose. A rupture you want to come back from.

Your family

Something in the family nobody talks about. A parent or a sibling you can’t reach. A weight that seems older than you are.

Your child

Ordinary things are too much for them. Big feelings that arrive faster than words for them. A change at home that landed hardest on them. Something you can see and can’t name.

If we knew how to act differently, we would.

We read each of these as part of a living system, a family, a history, and look for where the strain actually sits.

How we work

Beyond the Individual

The whole picture

What feels like your problem alone is usually held in place by something wider, your family, your history, the people you belong to. Every kind of work here starts by looking at the system, not only at you inside it.

Body and mind together

Not all of the work happens through words. In therapy, conversation is often where we begin. In listening therapy, we work through sound and how your nervous system responds to it. In a constellation, we make the system visible and work with what happens as you see and experience it. What you notice in your body is part of the information we work with. Sometimes seeing and experiencing something differently is where change begins.
